51st Annual Holiday Greens Show
This year’s theme is “The Marble House Celebrates a Colonial Revival Christmas.” Located on historic 2nd street in downtown Troy, the 1827 Hart-Cluett House will have 14 rooms decorated by the Van Rensselaer Garden Club. Reminiscent of Colonial Williamsburg, fresh trees, greens, fruits and flower arrangements will be artfully displayed throughout the Federal Style townhouse. Several members of the Van Rensselaer Garden Club will be dressed in period costumes. A silent auction of wreaths and demonstrations of how to create holiday centerpieces by garden club members will take place throughout the four days of the Greens Show in the museum’s adjacent Carr Building.
Free Admission from 5-8pm. Family night activities, from 6-8pm, including storytelling under the tree, crafts in the carriage house, and photos with Santa (fee charged for photo). Contact 272-7232x15 for information.
